Workflows

Dental Case Intake to Invoice

A dedicated lab path from clinic request and intake through configurable production, materials, quality, delivery, revision policy, and receivables.

Before you start

Available actions depend on role, record status, company configuration, and subscription. Work in the correct company and review every validation message before continuing.

Recommended operating sequence

  1. Create or receive the clinic case with box identity, work items, patient-safe reference, doctor, shade, priority, due dates, and attachments.
  2. Resolve catalog, price, detail, department, and work-path requirements.
  3. Move the case into production and let assigned technicians execute recorded steps.
  4. Plan, issue, and return materials against recipes or reviewed case plans.
  5. Complete quality and any design-review or try-in gates.
  6. Mark the case ready, verify dispatch box identity, assign delivery, and capture proof.
  7. Review invoice lines, revision or no-charge decisions, terms, and tax; then post the authorized invoice.
  8. Collect the receivable and review lab production, quality, clinic, technician, SLA, and financial analytics.

Modules

Verify after completion

  • Confirm the final record status and generated document.
  • Review the downstream module instead of assuming the handoff succeeded.
  • For finance activity, verify source, treasury, and ledger context as authorized.
  • Use the official correction or reversal path when an error is found.
